Frequently asked questions
What is a polyethylene liner and why is it needed?
It is an internal liner for an outer container. It protects the product from moisture, dust, contamination or leakage — depending on the chosen construction — and is made to the internal dimensions of your packaging.
Which containers do your liners fit?
Cardboard boxes, crates, drums and containers. Other industrial packaging is reviewed once the specification is agreed.
What dimensions are available?
Maximum total width including side gussets is up to 1050 mm and length up to 1600 mm. Dimensions are made to the internal dimensions of your container.
How thick are the liners?
Typical thickness is 10–50 microns. Thicknesses up to 250 microns are technically possible by agreement, but that is not a normal liner specification.
Which raw materials do you use?
LDPE, HDPE, virgin and recycled polyethylene, and blends. For food applications we use virgin raw material — state the intended use in your enquiry.
What construction is possible?
Open top, side gussets, a single or double bottom seal, and a custom construction made to the internal dimensions of the box, drum or container.
Are perforation or ventilation holes possible?
Yes, perforation and ventilation holes are available by agreement when required for the application. State the option you need in your enquiry along with the dimensions and thickness.
How many pieces are in a pack?
Typically 50 or 100. The actual quantity depends on the liner dimensions and thickness.
What is the minimum order and lead time, and is a sample available?
The minimum order is from 100 kg and the approximate production time is from 5 working days. We produce a custom sample; its delivery conditions are agreed separately. We ship throughout Ukraine via transport companies.
